First edition, featuring a dedication to Dan and Patricia Ellsberg, heroic figures of the peace movement after their disclosure of the Pentagon Papers in 1971. In 1978, Ginsberg and Ellsberg participated in major nonviolent protests at the Rocky Flats nuclear weapons plant near Boulder, Colorado. They sat on the railroad tracks to block trains carrying plutonium. The dedication refers directly to this event. A rare and fine copy./ FERLINGHETTI (Lawrence). A Political Pamphlet.
