Founded in the 1970s in the Sablon district of Brussels, the Alain Ferraton bookstore moved to the chaussée de Charleroi in the Châtelain district in 1985. In parallel with his library activity, Alain Ferraton offered auctions of rare and precious books.
With the arrival of Damien Voglaire, auctions of modern and contemporary art are added.
The auctions will definitively replace the bookstore in the 2010s. In 2016, Mr. Ferraton passes the torch to Damien Voglaire.
After 5 years, "Les Ventes Ferraton - Damien Voglaire" become "Les Ventes Damien Voglaire", an auction house specializing in literary and artistic avant-garde and the sale of modern and contemporary art.
