GIONO - "Les Cahiers de Contadour". Quarterly magazine edited by Jean Giono and Lucien Jacques. Numbers 1 to 8, with the exception of No. 6. Includes several texts by Giono: Suite inachevée de Jean le Bleu (10 pages), Le Bout de la route (75 pages), Chapitres inédits du grand troupeau, and Précisions. From September 1935 to September 1939, Jean Giono and Jean Lescure organized the Rencontres du Contadour in Haute-Provence, an event that marked part of the writer's life and work. Between these meetings, Jean Lescure and then Lucien Jacques, Giono's lifelong friend, published the Cahiers du Contadour. These publications include a variety of texts, poems and drawings that serve as reminders of the meetings. Uncommon. The book "Jean Giono et le Contadour, Un foyer de poésie vivante, 1935-1939" by L.
