"La Révolution d'abord et toujours!". P., 1925, 1 f. in-folio printed in black on the front on laid paper (upper edge frayed). In 1925, the Surrealists joined forces with the magazine "Clarté", which was close to the Communist Party but remained independent. This rapprochement was marked by the joint text published in l'Humanité, "La Révolution d'abord et toujours!", a manifesto that recognized the material conception of revolution as the only valid one: "We are not utopians, this Revolution we conceive only in its social form" (Tracts surréalistes et déclarations collectives I, p.56).
