Our copy also includes 8 additional prints, all signed and entitled "étude pour Henri Pousseur" or simply "pour HP" (8 digital prints, 21 x 29.5 cm, printed on glossy paper). This copy is embellished with a letter to the title: "pour / Henri Pousseur / en souvenir / du 1er décembre 2006 / à Genève, / avec amitié, / J.C. Prêtre". Henri Pousseur (1929-2009) was a Belgian composer. In the 50s, he was one of the major players in the "new music" movement, alongside Stockhausen, Boulez and Berio. Both in the electronic and instrumental fields, he contributed to the evolution of musical language. Jean-Claude Prêtre (°1942) is a Swiss artist. After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Geneva, he moved to Montreal and Boissano in Italy. Has collaborated with several writers, including Alexandre Voisard and Michel Butor. Numerous solo exhibitions.
