FOLON (Jean-Michel). "La Double vue" (1972). Color serigraphs mounted on a metal support, in the form of eyeglasses. Size of support and subject: 70 x 153 cm (fine scratches or black marks, but in very good overall condition). A rare item. Jean-Michel Folon often wore glasses. His cupboards were full of them, and in a fit of acute collecting, he amassed round and square, thick and thin, from multiple pairs of ophthalmologist's glasses to those, oh so revered, of Giorgio Morandi, his favorite painter.
