LEIRIS (Michel), full name Julien Michel Leiris (1901-1990), is a French writer, poet, ethnologist and art critic. Two autographed letters signed to Alain TRUTAT, namely: 1. a letter dated July 19, 1962 concerning Georges Bataille who died on the previous 9: "Be sure that I will do my best to help you pay tribute as appropriate to our friend Georges Bataille.
