GAILLIARD (Jean-Jacques). Signed autograph letter, dated April 5, 1966, addressed to Pierre Aelberts, a Belgian publisher and bibliophile (1899–1983). In this letter, which is entirely incorporated into a large calligraphic drawing, Jean-Jacques Gailliard (1890–1976) discusses his unsuccessful search for a speech by James Ensor about Emma Lambotte, an artist, writer, art critic, fencer, and James Ensor’s primary patron during his early career./ IDEM. A signed autograph letter, set within geometric motifs, dated June 3, 1954, and addressed to a certain Mr. Brouwers.
