NOUGÉ (Paul). Le Savoir vivre. Brux, Le Miroir infidèle (135 - Lot 716
NOUGÉ (Paul). Le Savoir vivre. Brux, Le Miroir infidèle (135 rue Esseghem), 1946, 8° booklet, stapled (slight angular crease). A small number of first editions. Copy by Jean Wallenborn, with a commentary in his own hand opposite Marcel Jean's reply. A professor and researcher in physical sciences at the ULB, Jean Wallenborn took part in demonstrations by a small circle of Surrealist activists, grouped around the poet Tom Gutt, as early as 1960. A rare and good copy of these answers by various authors and artists (Bellmer, Bonnefoy, Broodthaers, Char, Dotremont, Magritte, Mariën, Mesens, Schwitters, and many others) to 4 questions: "What are the things you hate / love / wish / dread most?", followed by "Correspondance" by Paul Nougé, Marcel Mariën and René Magritte, and "Lettres d'amour" by Hans Bellmer.
