D'INDY (Vincent). Reunion of 4 letters and a visiting card (1891 to 1902): a 4-sheet in-8 letter and a card addressed to Albert Mockel, Belgian symbolist poet (1866-1945). In these, he praises two of the poet's books: "Chantefable un peu naïve" and "Propos sur la littérature"; in the other 3 in-8 letters (4 sheets each), he replies to a journalist in one, talks about his work in the other and proposes the theme and title of a lecture he is to give in the last. A postcard depicting Vincent d'Indy is enclosed. Pupil of César Franck, fervent Wagnerian, member of the Société nationale de musique, co-founder and later director of the Schola Cantorum, Vincent d'Indy (1851-1931) was a French composer, conductor and pedagogue / Set of 6 pieces.
