Heures de Nostre Dame, à l'usage de Rome, avec plusieurs aultres Oraisons. Anvers, de l'Imprimerie Ioachim Trognaesius, 1589. 3 parts in 1 vol. in-12, 17 quires numbered [A1 to Q8], 19th c. binding, full red morocco, gilded fillets with fleurons at the corners, spine with 5 beaded bands, gilded title, ornate boxes and date, red edges, spine boards edged and decorated with gilded lace, combed endpapers (black marks on upper board, upper margin trimmed, paper browned with wide wetness throughout). Armorial bookplate of Léonce Dupont de St. Ouen and Joël Dupont. A rare Gothic edition, printed in black and red, decorated with some thirty woodcuts in the text, including ten large woodcuts illustrating biblical scenes and 6 small figures of saints. It has an almanac for 19 years, from 1585 to 1603. The text was revised by Nicolas de Leuze, a Flemish theologian and rector of the University of Leuven. Cahiers R and S are incomplete.
