Roma, Zone Attive Edizioni, 2005, 8°, br. Signed first edition, as new. Born in Solna, Sweden, in 1944, Anders Petersen became interested in photography at an early age. At the age of 18, he left his family for Hamburg. There, he frequented the Café Lehmitz, where he made friends with local prostitutes, workers, transvestites and outcasts. It was here that he produced his first series of photographs. When he returned to Stockholm, he met Christer Strömholm, who took notice of his work. Like Ströholm, Petersen photographs exclusively in black and white, with a preference for snapshots and a particular interest in human encounters. In 2003, he was awarded the Grand Prix du photographe at the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie d'Arles / Set. 2 vols.
