Ballets russes - A collection of 5 programs, including no. 16 of "Comoedia illustré" (1914), an "numéro extraordinaire consacré aux Ballets russes" featuring 17 color reproductions of costumes by Léon Bakst, 2 of them full-page, as well as the official program published by "Comoedia illustré" (May-June 1914) featuring numerous color reproductions by Léon Bakst and illustrated with the same cover as the "numéro extraordinaire". Also included is the program for the Théâtre de la Gaité-Lyrique (May 1921 and June 1923), for the gala evening of Serge de Diaghilew's Ballets Russes, whose cover is illustrated by Picasso. Illustrations by Goncharova, Matisse, Larionov, Juan Gris and Picasso. Also included is the official program for the Ballets Russes' Seventh Season (May-June 1912), with numerous color and gold reproductions by Léon Bakst. Complete with illustrated and gilded crystal paper. A fine set.
