First edition printed in 500 numbered copies on vergé pur fil Zuber. 1/60 head copy, signed by the author, containing in addition: a cut copper stencil, Jean Saudé process, and a leaf brushed with this stencil; the cover and double endpapers specially designed for the book and intended for the binding; a previously unpublished plate "L'Aurore" (in 2 states) by Antoine Bourdelle; a previously unpublished plate (in 2 states) "Portrait de jeune fille" by Maurice Denis. Entirely illustrated with stencils, lithographs, phototypes, heliogravures, engravings, "Dorel" processes, on various types of paper, some in several states. Missing plate XVIII (3-tone sketch by Rodin). A good copy (signed by SEM), complete with presentation leaf illustrated with a vignette by Chapuis.
