DEBUSSY (Claude). Autograph handwritten letter... - Lot 71 - Les ventes Damien Voglaire SRL
DEBUSSY (Claude). Autograph handwritten letter dated 3/III/10, addressed to René Bizet. 1 page in-12 on Delarue blue-tinted laid paper. In this letter, Claude Debussy thanks Bizet for sending him poems. "There are no modest verses, but there are many bad ones. Yours are charming, and I thank you for giving me the pleasure of reading them. Yours sincerely". René Bizet (1887-1947) was a French journalist and columnist (notably for "L'intransigeant" and the "Revue française"). A novelist and poet of the fantasy school founded before the First World War by Francis Carco and Tristan Derème, he was a friend of Alain-Fournier.
