ALEXANDRE (Maxime) et UNIK (Pierre). - Lot 964
ALEXANDRE (Maxime) et UNIK (Pierre). "Around a poem". S.l. [Paris], April 5, 1932, 1 folio 4° of 4 p. printed in black. "There is no poem without a subject", write Maxime Alexandre and Pierre Unik, before concluding with this injunction: "Let poets know that today they have a homeland to defend". This homeland, this family too, is the U.S.S.R. and the Communist Party, and the purpose of this leaflet is to present the official version of the former Surrealists turned orthodox Communists on the "Aragon Affair", which has just broken up the group.
