(spine faded and rubbed, upper corners rubbed, russeting on edges, inside very fresh). First illustrated edition, published the same year as the original, printed in 366 copies, 1/294 Arches vellum. Includes 9 full-page drawings by Francis Picabia bound in fine ("Transparences" series), reproduced in color by Daniel Jacomet. "Le Peseur d'âmes" is an anticipatory, almost fantastic short story, enhanced by Picabia's illustrations (Skira, 285).
