JARRY (Alfred). Madrigal à Rachilde. S.l.n.d. (printed for G - Lot 730
JARRY (Alfred). Madrigal à Rachilde. S.l.n.d. (printed for G.A. Dassonville, bibliophile), plate in-32 oblong, br. First edition. Unique edition of 16 numbered copies on Japon nacré (ex. no. 3). Writer and printer Gustave-Arthur Dassonville (1913-1998) wrote, printed, published and distributed "Le Brûlot" alone for over 60 years. This little newspaper was Dassonville's opportunity to react, in the form of a pamphlet, to current political, artistic and literary events. A dealer in antiquarian books, close to Tzara, correspondent with Benjamin Péret, Michel Seuphor, René Char and Pierre-André Benoît, he printed not only "Le Brûlot", but also posters, postcards and other texts from his small house in Bagnolet, which have left their mark on typography and illustrated book enthusiasts.
