HARING - "Il Furgo" (1989). Reunion of 4 vintage color photographs on glossy paper. Size: (4 x) 10 x 15 cm. These 4 prints were made during Keith Haring's visit to Pisa (Italy) in 1989, in front of the "Tutomondo" tower. To thank the members of the young theater company who ran the event's information desk the week Keith Haring built the wall, Haring painted their entire 1966 40 VW van, christened "Il Furgo". These young Italian students would go on to found the Sete Sóis Sete Luas Festival 4 years later, a festival of popular music and contemporary art from the Mediterranean and Portuguese-speaking world, with the support of Portuguese writer José Saramago and Italian theatre-maker Dario Fo.
