Galerie Taptoe - File including photos (portraits of the Haesaert couple), catalogs (Hugo Claus, Asger Jorn, Walasse Ting) and invitation cards (Antoine Mortier, vernissage for the opening of the Taptoe art center on December 22, 1955), as well as extensive handwritten and typescript correspondence, mainly relating to the magazine "De Meridiaan", a fortnightly founded in 1951 by Clara Haesaert, Hugo Walschap, Jan van den Weghe and Maurice Wyckaert. Enclosed is a typescript of Henry Miller's "Is Fiction?", text of 2 pages (from the Haesaert archives). Nice set.
