If I have an idea for a sketch with a set and characters, and it's an idea whose violence is better conveyed in a comic strip, I turn it into a comic strip. For example, "La Route de l'Art" was much better as a comic strip, very expressionist with a very marked drawing. In 1976, it wasn't fashionable at all. It was very hard.
