[Engravings and cut-outs by Martin Müller-Reinhart.] P., Atelier Lacourière Frélaut, 1994, 8°, in sheets, filled soft cover, publisher's folder and slipcase. First edition of this translation by L.-A. Monod of excerpts from the book "The Eternal Present : Beginnings of Architecture" published in Washington by the National Gallery of Art in 1964. Using painting as well as engraving or sculpture, the work of Martin Müller-Reinhart (1954-2009) develops around planes and lines that he arranges in such a way as to create a virtual space, a meeting place for all possibilities. The artist's works include several large-scale installations that create sober spaces of silence and meditation inside churches and public spaces. He has notably invested the Saint Louis de la Salpetrière chapel in Paris in 1989 and the Gesù church in Montreal in 2009. Condition of new.
