First issue (out of 4 in total) of this magazine born under the influence of Dada at the initiative of E.L.T. Mesens, and ironically subtitled "Bi-monthly journal for the beautiful youth". Texts of Magritte, Aragon, Burssens, Mesens, etc. Reproductions of Picabia, Klee, Magritte and Man Ray. "It is with the four issues of Marie, that we see the beginning of Surrealism, under the casualness, the provocation and the derision of the Dadaist movement." (P.
