KURIYAMA - VERDET (André). The Lady of Obiou. Poetry. Seven engravings by Shigeru Kuriyama. Turin, Il Ridotto - La Stamperia, s.d., broadside, in sheets, black cloth publisher's folder with gold title on the upper cover (folder slightly damaged, upper part of the edge browned). First edition printed at 72 copies on Fabriano, signed by the author and the artist, including 7 signed hors-texte engravings. Born in Tokyo, Shigeru Kuriyama (°1950) studied Fine Arts from 1968 to 1971 before attending the Decorative Arts of Nice. His figures of busts and profiles assert a presence born of repetition, an anthromorphic catalog with an expressionist character of all the physiognomies of the world.
