CADERE (André). The Galleries (as well as the museums) are essentially constituted by a space between the walls (...). 1 sheet 4°, mimeographed. Unpublished document (and rare bilingual text French-Dutch) distributed by Cadere during his official exhibition of one evening in the Palace of the Fine Arts of Brussels, on September 26, 1974. This event took place on the occasion of the joint openings of the exhibitions of Marcel Broodthaers, Robert Ryman, Dan Van Severen and Narrative Art. The artist affirmed the independence of his work (André Cadere, Histoire d'un travail, Herbert-Gewad, 1992, chapter 11).
