"Una favola vera" was first published in 1933 as an illustrated children's book that tells the story of fascism in fairy-tale tones. The real strength of the book lies in the splendid illustrations by Anna Maria Tommasini (1901-1987). This second expanded edition is very interesting since it was produced in 1937 with an entirely new section, placed after page 26, to update the "story" of Fascism with the conquest of Ethiopia and the creation of the Empire. Even the cover was completely renewed, with the help of the brushes of Tina Tommasini who created a remarkable geographical view of the "Empire". Nice copy.
