Draft of a letter dated June 13, 1946 to E.L.T. Mesens (1903-1971), Belgian pianist-composer-performer, writer, poet and visual artist. He is one of the founders of the surrealist movement in Belgium. Long text on the revolt (2 pages and a half 8° and 1 page 4° and qqs lines, in pencil and ink). Excerpt: "First of all, note that I don't give a damn about Stalin or Trotsky, no less than about humanity and its future. The only thing which seems to me deserved some importance in my eyes, it is my fate ". Marcel Mariên (1920-1993) is a Belgian surrealist writer, poet, essayist, editor, photographer, filmmaker, creator of collages and unusual objects. He is in 1979 the first historian of the Belgian Surrealism. Nice document.
