LEIRIS (Michel), full name Julien Michel Leiris (1901-1990), is a French writer, poet, ethnologist and art critic. Two autographed letters signed to Alain TRUTAT, namely: 1. a letter dated July 19, 1962 concerning Georges Bataille who died on the previous 9: "Be sure that I will do my best to help you pay tribute as appropriate to our friend Georges Bataille. Leiris then gives precise instructions for making an appointment. A half page 4°, envelope kept - 2. A letter dated January 18, 1964. Leiris remembers that he wrote in one of his old books (Bagatelles végétales), a list of books on word games, including the little book they talked about the day before: the Anagranméara.
