Russian Symbolism - KOURSINSKI (Alexander). Through the prism of art. Russian first edition enriched with a sending "to Eshmer Valdor / author's tribute / A. Koursinski / June 20 / 1906 / Moscow". Eshmer Valdor, pseudonym of Alexandre Mercereau (1884-1945) is a French man of letters, poet, art critic, philosopher and journalist. He was the correspondent of the monthly artistic and literary magazine "The Golden Fleece" which appeared in Moscow from 1906 to 1909. The publishing house "Grif" was founded in Moscow by Sergei Sokolov-Kretchetov, also editor-in-chief who published under the pseudonym of Sergei Kretchetov. He also directs the literary part of the magazine "The Golden Fleece".
