In 1920, Le Corbusier, Amédée Ozenfant and Paul Dermée join to found the review "L'Esprit nouveau". The first columns concern the fine arts, the aesthetics of engineering, architecture, urbanism and decorative arts but thanks to the help of many contributors, the themes extend to painting, sculpture, literature, music, cinema, theater, sport, health, hygiene of life, aesthetics of modern life, etc. Each issue contains critical, artistic, literary, musical and sometimes political articles, press clippings, lists of books and magazines, and reproductions of works of art related to Cubism. The publication of the magazine ends in 1925.
