[AUBERTIN] - "Jacob ou la Persuasion". Portfolio containing 16 original serigraphs published for the eponymous exhibition at the Galerie Weiller in Paris, from July 4th to September 30th 1972. First edition printed at 500 copies. 1/100 copies of head including 1 cover page and the 16 plates numbered and signed. Under a green silkscreened cover. Artists : Amann, Amor, Bernard Aubertin, Ballester, Bollo, Candille, François Dufrêne, Dupanier, Madeleine, Marquette, Mathigot, Mohr, Prosi, Schwarz, Weber and Wolman. Bernard Aubertin (1934-2015) is a French visual artist. Close to Yves Klein, he began his most emblematic series in 1960, the "tableaux clous" and then, in 1961, his "tableaux feu". He then joined the ZERO group, founded four years earlier in Düsseldorf by Heinz Mack and Otto Piene, to make a clean sweep of all previous forms of creation and to elaborate a new situation, in harmony with the physical and natural elements. Nice and rare copy in first edition.
