HENICH (Micaëla) and ROUBAUD (Jacques). Mille e tre, deux. 200 arrows. S.l., Théâtre typographique, 1995, large 8°, 400 p., full kromekote bradel, green dust jacket filled, cover and back cons. First edition. 1/30 head number, with a suite of drawings on Japon, signed by the authors. In July 1948, when Micaëla Henich was only 2 years old, her parents left Romania to settle in Paris. She began to write and draw at the age of fifteen, in black and white only. On her mother's advice, she went to show her drawings to Jean Dubuffet who acquired a dozen of them for the Musée d'Art Brut. In 1985, she had her own studio and began a new cycle of large format drawings. Antoine Mendiharat sees them and offers her a place at the Berggruen Gallery.
