Jean Schwind, pseudonym of Jean Warie (Ghent, 1935 - Grasse, 1985), is a conceptual artist and the first Belgian artist of "appropriation". His anti-collection is composed of dozens of pastiches of works of art that he calls "homage" or "appropriation", including works by Christo, Lucio Fontana and Marcel Broodthaers. First major retrospective of his work at S.M.A.K., Ghent in 2014.
