Paris, Didier, 1852, in-12, portrait, title, 106-[2] p., full brown morocco, small lace and triple gilt fillet framing the boards decorated with interlacing branches of foliage, inner gilt fillet with gilt fleurons, ivory silk lined endpapers with rose branches, decorated spine nerves, double gilt fillet on the edges, gilt edges, covers preserved (binding signed Kauffmann) (beginning of the front spine slightly cracked, very small traces of wear and very lightly dusted.) Autograph bill added: " dear Co-questeur / don't bother, I have already gone to confabulate with Mr. Collot to the Provençal brothers the ordered feast. It will be sumptuous in spite of the sweetness of the price. We will meet again with fork and glass in hand. Tuus Théophile Gautier ".
