Rex - KAMAROWSKY (Count Leonid). Letter and envelope on the - Lot 108
Rex - KAMAROWSKY (Count Leonid). Letter and envelope on the letterhead of the "Pays réel", the "Quotidien rexiste de combat et d'informations", postmarked January 16, 1937, addressed to Olga de Bruyssel in Rome, the daughter of Jeanne de Tallenay (1863-1920), Belgian writer, by a certain Count Leonid Kamarowsky (not to be confused with his namesake, professor of international law in Moscow, supporter of the peace movement, died in 1912), 4 pages in-8. Document deserving of further research. After expressing his regret at not being able to present his wishes, Kamarowsky writes: "Allow me to pester you and to appeal to your kindness. I am writing to you about Sieur 'Jean-Baptiste' - for our leader would like to know what action has been taken on the denial I presented to you regarding the individual's false and movement-damaging claims. "The letter follows by talking about the page devoted to Belgium in "Nova Italia" (1926-1943), which will be increased to two that will be edited in Brussels. Kamarowsky asks if she can collaborate by mentioning "certain Italian manifestations in any field where Fascism shows its spirit of "conservative reformation". Interesting document.
