Le Pal. Paris, Penin et Soirat (Marc Bloy, imprimeur du Pal, rue Bleue, 7, Paris), nos. 1 to 4 (4, 11, 25 March and 2 April 1885), 17.5 × 11.5 cm, 4 bound paperbacks with continuous pagination, 128 p., orange-red covers illustrated by Uzès, alias Valentin Lemot, representing a palm tree where four people are being tortured, one of whom is Jules Grévy, a palm tree at the foot of which Bloy, dressed as a Turk, is quietly smoking his pipe. Beginning of the first text: "I have long sought a way to make myself unbearable to my contemporaries. "The 4 issues are in beautiful condition, which is rare. All that was published during Bloy's lifetime.
