The Famous Eight. With 51 previously unpublished drawings by Foujita. P., Delpeuch, 1927, 4°, green half-maroquin with corners, spine with 4 scalloped ribs, boxes decorated with gold figures and mosaic beads, author, title, illustrator, year and head gilded, filled cover and back cons., ex-libris on the back cover (back evenly and slightly faded). Reimposed edition in 4th wreath format, printed 320 ex. num. 1/270 Marais vellum. Copy enriched with 2 very beautiful and interesting letters from the author, dated June 1927 and December 1927, addressed to Mr. Louis Fabulet (1862-1933), man of letters and translator. Kikou mentions the names of Dumur, the Duchess of La Rochefoucauld, Marcel Thiebaut, Darius Milhaud, Albert Londres "who looks like a Capuchin", Briod, Valéry and Delteil (envelopes preserved).
