[ARTAUD, Antonin]. The Alfred Jarry Theatre and public hostility. S.l.n.d. Antonin Artaud and Roger Vitrac], 1930, booklet in-12, br., cover illustrated with a drawing by Gaston-Louis Roux (cover leg. stitched, back damaged and reinforced). Illustrated with 9 photomontages by Eli Lotar (Eliazar Lotar Teodoresco, 1905-1969, is a French photographer and filmmaker of Romanian origin) based on portraits of Antonin Artaud, Roger Vitrac and the actress Josette Lusson. After their expulsion from the Surrealist group by Breton in 1925, Roger Vitrac and Antonin Artaud created the Théâtre Alfred Jarry, where they presented totally innovative plays from 1926 to 1929. The program for 1930 is presented in this small volume, but will never be edited. Extremely rare.
