REBOUX, Paul, pen name of André Amillet (1877-1963), is a French writer, journalist and painter. He is particularly known for his collections of literary pastiches. Correspondence to Victor MOREMANS (1890-1973), a Belgian literary critic, who started almost at the same time as Simenon at the "Gazette de Liège" and became a great literary critic appreciated by all and often befriended the authors (Simenon, Montherlant, etc.). 14 letters including 2 manuscripts and 12 typescripts with autograph signature + 12 envelopes, some letterheads (Paris-Soir, Société d'Édition et de Publicité technique, Les Éditions Le Laurier...) From December 2, 1924 to December 17, 1936, 14 letters all dated. Letters of thanks for the critics, sometimes with a commentary and sometimes alluding to his stay in Liège, one letter asks for a review for his favourite book, "Le Phare", which he will rewrite". Letter of 17 November 1930 (handwritten): "Your reservations, dear Sir, are as agreeable to me as your praise, so friendly are they. Thank you for this attentive and sympathetic study, and thank you for the memory of Liège which came back to me when I read your name. Very faithfully. "Amusing correspondence.
