Partly original edition. Copy of Lady Ottoline Morrell, annotated in pencil on the false title: "To O.M. from Z.A.C. 16th June". Lady Ottoline Morrell (1873-1938) is a painter, woman of the world and English aristocrat. She became friends with Aldous Huxley, Siegfried Sassoon, T. S. Eliot and D. H. Lawrence. She had love affairs with men and women such as the philosopher Bertrand Russell, the novelist Dorothy Bussy and the painter Dora Carrington. "Divagations" is a collection of the inspirations of chance which brings together rare texts from 1864 to 1893 (Talvart and Place XIII, p. 123). Uncommon.
