DIETERICH (Johann, Conrad). Imperatorum germanicorum, familiae Saxonicae Historia Augustaea, Henrici I Aucupis. Othonis I Magni. Othonis II. Othonis III Henrici II Sancti [...]. Giessae Hassorum [in Giessen], ex Officinâ Typographica Josephi Dieterici Hampelii, 1666, 4°, [8]-78-[2]-168-104-134 (sic for 142)-126-72, full vellum at the time (leg. paper burnished because of the poor quality of the ink). From the Nordkirschen library (ex-libris). Johann Conrad Dieterich (1612-1667) is historian and librarian at the Academy of Giessen. In 962, Otto I founded the Holy Roman Empire by taking over the title "Emperor of the Romans" (Imperator Romanorum). Henry I is simply there because he is the father of Otto I. The book ends with "Historico-politicus" index written by Jerome Thomas (72 p.).
