Two letters from Maurice BERNHARDT (1864-1928), natural son of Sarah Bernhardt, playwright and man of the theatre, one dated April 12, 1908, the other undated but sent shortly after, addressed to Edmond de TALLENAY, about his play based on " Vivia perpetua " by his mother Jeanne de Tallenay, 1 page in-12 each (both are glued on a sheet of paper). "Two postcards and a letter from Fernand CROMMELYNCK (1886-1970), a Belgian actor and playwright. The first card is addressed to Edmond de TALLENAY and is dated 20 June 09 [?]. Crommelynck read "Vivia perpetua". "I like it very much and I'm sure that everyone will like it" etc. (card stuck to a sheet of paper on the side of the address). The second card dated 21 February 1914 (postmark) is addressed to Mrs. E [dmond] de Tallenay: "I present to you, Madam, my respectful homage. I would not dare to show myself in the aspect where I am at the moment ! ». The letter on page 4° is dated 25 January 1940 and addressed to "my dear friend". Crommelynck appeals to this friend for publicity (posters, photos, meetings...) for a play or a film, we don't know./ Set of 7 pieces. We take the liberty of quoting the excellent notice on Jeanne de Tallenay, written by Paul Aron and Cécile Vanderpeelen-
