Superb specimen. The abbot Rozier deals primarily with agriculture, but his dictionary does not limit itself to the only activity of production. Thus he does not hesitate to treat all the economic, scientific, industrial, pharmacological, veterinary or even architectural aspects of it. Viticulture, beekeeping, surveying, forestry, marshland drainage, still distillation, agricultural almanac, farriery and woad making are all covered in turn in the dictionary. In its time, this "Complete Course in Agriculture" will be considered one of the most comprehensive works on the subject, while remaining affordable for a wide readership.
