"Experimentele Groep". Postcard with the group's letterhead, stamped and stamped, addressed to Jan Elburg [Dutch poet, 1919-1992]. Concerns a general meeting that took place on 12 November [1948] at Constant Nieuwenhuizen. Better known as Constant, Constant Nieuwenhuizen is the co-founder in 1948 with Karel Appel, Guillaume Corneille, Eugène Brands, Constant Nieuwenhuis, Anton Rooskens and Theo Wolvecamp, of the movement "Experimentele Groep", a group which published the magazine "Reflex", anticipating the magazine Cobra which would appear the following year in Denmark, then in Belgium and finally in the Netherlands. Constant is also one of the founders of the CoBrA movement of which he was the theorist.
