CHOPIN (Henri). - Lot 598
CHOPIN (Henri).
Reverse it. Typescript of 53 p. with mss. corrections. S.l.n.d., fall 2002, 4°, in leaves. These photocopies are preceded by a 2-page typed letter, signed by the author and addressed to Thierry and Luc [Neuhuys], the children of the poet Paul Neuhuys: "Your newsletter Ca ira gave me such joy that I have developed a little book, of which I enclose photocopies" (...) "This little book - which I would like to see bilingual for the Flemish - is only the reflection of a thought faithful to my origins... Yes, a lot of things have started, especially with Flanders, and here I make no secret of the fact that I am ashamed to have seen the automatic exclusions of three "small countries", yours, Czechoslovakia and Sweden, three very large creative countries and where I have often been able to work". Enclosed is the announcement leaflet for the 3rd issue of the OU Collection as well as the subscription form and 2 invitation cards for the exhibition "Les Riches heures de l'Alphabet" by Henri Chopin and Paul Zumthor at the Galerie Colbert in Paris in January 1993. Nice set.
