CLADEL (Judith), amusing letter dated Nov. 30, 1909, 2 pages 8°, glued on paper, addressed to a "Monsieur", no doubt Édouard de Tallenay, who sent him a staging of the book "Vivia Perpetua" [published by Lemerre in 1905] by Jeanne de Tallenay, which he published in Brussels at the Editions de la Belgique artistique et littéraire in 1908. "It is a beautiful staging of Madame de Tallenay's nobly written novel. She advised him to turn to young actresses, as Sarah Bernhardt and la Druse grew old... Judith Cladel (1873-1958), daughter of Léon Cladel, mother of Dominique Rolin, muse of Edmond Picard, was a woman of letters.
