P., NRF, "Le Point du Jour", 1952, in-12 oblong, publisher's hardback in the form of an airmail shipment with stamped stamps and mss addresses (small tears in the 2nd plate). First edition. Copy of René Bertelé including an original collage of Prévert, dedicated : "to René du Point du Jour / his friend / Jacques des Portes de la nuit". Enriched with a full page drawing by André François: "With all my / sympathy to / René Bertelé. René Bertelé (1908-1973) created the editions of Point du Jour on January 10, 1946 in Paris. A few weeks later, he published "Paroles", Jacques Prévert's first collection of poetry. Already known for his film scripts, song lyrics and militant theater, Jacques Prévert had only published his literary works in confidential magazines. René Bertelé gathered and organized these scattered texts and became, from one collection to the next, from "Paroles" to "Choses et autres", the poet's main publisher and one of his closest friends.
