MILLER (Henry).
Is Fiction ? Tapuscript of 3 pages, on the letterhead of his Californian address, with corrections and a note at the top of the letter "To answer a question from an editor or an academic journal". This text written in English is addressed to Pierre Lesdain, Belgian poet, literary critic and novelist, 1897-1970. "If fiction is understood as anything that opposes naked truth, reality, realism or representation, then I would say that everything is fiction, including scientific theories, statistics and so-called facts."
