Non-trade copy marked "B", enriched with a dedicated photograph of the author to the publisher Albert Parmentier "thank you for having put all your heart at the service of "Corps et Âmes"", as well as a beautiful autograph letter of 2 pages relating to the realization of this book "To carry out this edition, I had to live the life of a voluntary slave, not backing down from any difficulty (...). Few people know what physical endurance it takes to accomplish such a work (...)". Copy also enriched in the second volume with a handwritten letter from the illustrator D.-Ch. Fouqueray as well as a photo representing the author. An original watercolor by Fouqueray (study for Corps et Âmes) dedicated "to my excellent friend the great Belgian publisher A. Parmentier", 3 drawings in Indian ink and 7 woodcuts. We also join the presentation booklet of the work and the model of the cover. Very nice set.
