Autograph letter signed, dated August 20, 1963, 2 pages 4°, addressed to the gallery owners Joseph Derweduwen and Albert Perraudin. Joseph Derweduwen is the founder member of the association of the galleries of actual art of Belgium. Letter on both sides enriched with full-page colored pencil drawings, written from London, in which he evokes the wish to have some precise news of their new projects: "Without news of your intentions towards a reduced exhibition of my works in Brussels - at the latest on Nov. 27, the date of my 60-year-old birthday - I would like to be able to present my work to you. date of my 60th birthday - I will be forced to give a sympathetic ear to the siren songs that have reached me from Torino (Galleria Viotti), from Paris (two galleries) and from the closed letters with the always open arms of Cardazzo (Naviglio and Cavallino) as well as from the reiterated intentions of Schwarz to buy (...)". E.L.T. Mesens will exhibit in 1965 in Milan, in 1966 in Brussels, in 1970 in Turin and Venice, and in 1971 in Brussels. Letter mounted under mat and aluminum frame. Dim. frame : 40 x 35 cm ; letter : 25 x 20 cm (small angular spots).
